Robin saw the anger and approved. To get angry over hearing about the slavers was the right response in her opinion, anyone who didn't she was liable to question their place in the town and their morals.
"I would rather speak directly to Buck myself," she replied. She didn't want to step on toes and undermine the Oma's second but this was her news and she would rather it be delivered directly to the Oma leader using her own words. "I think we should hold off on telling the other tribes until we have spoken to your leader."
The Cano trusted Buck and the Oma more than the other tribes, which was why Bridget hadn't hesitated that much at informing them. This was why the otherwise elusive and private tribe chose to trade with the Oma.
Robin shook her head as she walked alongside him. "None that we are aware of. We have scouts keeping an eye on them. So far they haven't ventured into the town, unless they have sent a scout of their own that we missed." It was possible but unlikely, unless one of the slavers had already been in town before the Cano spotted their camp.
