Re: Libby and Savage
Libby had good self-preservation instincts. It was necessary to have or develop these instincts when one was faced with the end of the world, and Libby had hers. She weighed her options based on her gut feelings and whatever information she had at the time and made her decisions then. That didn't always work because Libby could be very impulsive and didn't always think things through.
Right now, Libby should have followed her instincts and simply walked away. All alarms were set off by the arrival of the Chet member. Libby didn't know him personally but she knew he was a Chet was while she had nothing against the Chet personally Libby had to thread softly when they were in the picture. He hadn't done anything to give her cause to concern either but Libby couldn't shake off the feeling that she should be careful. The problem was...they were in a party and being careful in parties wasn't as fun.
"And you wold be right," Libby said with a smile, accepting the glass of moonshine. "Thank you," she added politely with a light bow of her head. She studied his stance and the look in his eyes, and tried to figure out his intentions...she needed more information. "I'm Libby," the blonde introduced herself, holding a hand out to him. "And you are with the Chet..." it was more a statement than an actual question. "I don't think we've met before."
