Daniel sat watching Jessie and Dylan playing some guessing game, he forgot the name of it. He still wasn't sure about staying here or whether they would even find Angel. He missed her so much and he was slowly losing what little hope he had left of finding her again.
He blinked tiredly as he watched the kids, forcing his eyes open as he felt them get heavy. He couldn't sleep, they may have been safer than they had been outside or while they had been travelling but despite the few who had given them blankets and food, he still didn't know or trust anyone here. Which meant he wasn't about to let his guard down.
Daniel watched the odd people moving about, shoulders tensing when they went out of his eyeline, pushing down the paranoia and jumpiness that threatened to overwhelm him again.
