Mac hadn't wanted to be so steady, especially since it was summer, but after her confrontation with Savage, she had no choice but to take things easy for while. Her ribs needed to heal and as she learned the hard way, a person can't do much at all if their ribs were broken. Although Topher had warned her to lay low, she, of course, hadn't listened. Then she tried do something simple, re-tie some rope knots, and as she pulled to tighten, she bit down on her lip to keep form screaming in pain. Since then, Mac actually listened to doctor's orders and kept a low profile when it came to hard labor. She still marched around and gave orders, she had to keep up some appearances. But she did treat Savage with a bit more respect. He deserved it, fairly beating her in their fight.
She had worn her bruises and injuries proudly, wearing a tank top everyday since. Yes, she had lost, but it showed she could take a beating and keep going. It was also because they weren't tight around her chest and very easy to slip on and off. In lieu of her lack of laborious work, Mac had taken up cards, solitaire and poker, Texas Hold 'Em, and even Gin. Currently, she was playing poker with some of her guys when Ley Ley came up behind her.
Mac smirked lightly, telling some of the nervous ones that she wasn't going to kill anyone. "Never said you were uninvited, Ley Ley," Mac replied, turning her head around. "Care to join?"
