JD didn't often leave the Oma territory. It wasn't that she was scared to or anything, it was just that she was usually too busy to. Today was one of those days where boredom had brought her out to the trading post with some of the Oma traders. It always amazed her that when her or Sparks did happen to have time enough to wander, they often found themselves beseeched by others for help on some kind of repair job. As the only two proper mechanic-types around it wasn't surprising that they were known. And lets face it, JD's short red hair made her stand out like a sore thumb. Not that she minded, she liked working and she liked helping where and how she could. She just had yet to figure out this whole 'trading' lark.
JD glanced up at the sound of her name. She didn't recognise the woman in front of her but that in itself wasn't unusual but JD wasn't naive either to not be suspicious of strangers.
"I'm not that busy." She wasn't really busy at all. "What's up with it?" she asked..
