It was silent. He might be a 'new father' but he knew damn well silence was a forbidding sound and Amy was a loud little girl when playing. She knew the difference of outside and inside voices just fine. And she was displaying an indoor voice. He set down his pencil and began to head outside, searching for his child and the little ones she decided to play with. More than likely the children, slightly older, convinced her to come with them.
Amy, for her part, looked up at Orion for a moment, half her breath gone from running silently. "Come on Heart Rabbit!" One of her friends called that managed to run past Orion, "Come on! We're going to the river."
The big blue eyes look pleadingly, she never been to the river before. However she looked at the hand offered, looked apologetically to her friends, and took Orion's hand. If the lady knew that she was her father's daughter, she was going to rat. Amy just knew it.
With a sigh she followed Orion until she shot out to the door just as Charles - Doc - was lifting himself from the stool to go out and see if Amy was okay. "And what on earth happened to you, Little Bit?" He murmured to his daughter as she grabbed his leg and glanced at Orion. He then looked up at Orion and smiled briefly. "Afternoon, may I help you?"
