"I could still try and get it fixed for you if you want?" Daniel offered. If it was beyond his ability to fix than he knew a few people he could ask and save her having to buy a new one.
"They are? That's great news," he said in regards to her brother's news. Even though he was pretty sure he didn't like Daniel. The time he had met Angel's brother, Greg, the older man had come across as brusque and as if he had taken an instant dislike to him - or even before they'd met. Ok, so maybe Daniel hadn't been in a great mindset at the time and the other man could just have been pissed off at having to 'babysit' his sister's friend while she picked up Jessie... but it had felt more like dislike towards him at the time.
His brow furrowed again. "And me...?" He wondered if he would actually get a response to that question or if she would just wave it off. The fact she had stopped herself saying something probably meant the latter.
"Well, as long as it's ok. I know you do and we've missed having you around... and my tea breaks are not the same..." Daniel quirked a small smile at her words. "I'll find out how much longer I'm stuck covering the late show and if it's much longer I may ask you, if it's alright with you, of course."
