“I’ve not been anywhere much, I was working the opposite shift at the station and I figured the temp they bought in to cover me was pretty enough to keep you more interested, brunettes are more your thing right?” Angel teased softly, quickly covering the hurt that the thought brought up. “And I was working at the club, I’ve busted up my guitar and I need a new one...and since when do I have the cash for things like that when there’s rent and food to be covered.”
