Christmas was only two months away and while most would say it was far too early for christmas shopping, the truth of the matter was that most would say didn't have a large Italian family. Eight was her current household (she still referred to it as household despite most of her siblings except for the youngest living out of home)-- not including the millions of cousins that seemed to be scattered around Personville. So, after work, she perused through the goods that Niederman's had to offer.
The women in her family were easy to shop for. It had always been the men that stumped her and, unfortunately for Eva, the men far outnumbered the women. So she strolled through the men's department looking at different things from ties to wrist watches. Stepping away from one of the displays, she hadn't noticed someone behind her. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry about that. I wasn't paying the slightest attention."
