Dallas was surprised that he'd beaten his girlfriend down here. Usually when Grace was excited about something she was there in two seconds flat; especially if that something involved him. Those thoughts might have been conceited, and often he wondered if he was just delusional. Just because he felt that way about her didn't mean she had to share the feelings. So often Dallas wondered what she would say if she knew how pathetic he was. Pining after her all day, waiting for her to text or call because he missed her so much. He could barely go a whole day without seeing Grace, yet he couldn't tell her that he loved her? Dallas definitely lost cool points for that he was sure, but he just didn't know how to tell her. What if she thought he was crazy?
He was trying to shake those thoughts, looking around instead for his girlfriend, when he felt hands wrap around his eyes. Most people would have panicked or become confused, but he could tell it was Grace just by the feel of those hands. Hearing her attempt at sounding masculine made Dallas chuckle softly, and he briefly considered playing along longer. Deciding against it, he smiled instead. "My very beautiful and silly girlfriend Grace? At least I'm hoping it is..."
