The idea of Christmas shopping shouldn't have made Harley as excited as it did, but she couldn't help herself. This was her first year actually celebrating the holiday in the way everyone else did, and while she wanted to keep some of her family's traditions, she also wanted to embrace every single one her beloved friends and boyfriend had. A tree was at the top of the list, though Harley hadn't thought about asking her roommate until Drew mentioned it. Luckily for her, Evangeline was a reasonable girl, which meant the suggestion was passed without any complaint. That gave Harley and Grace free reign to start going nuts.
Getting everything together, or at least organizing the trip to Halifax, had been fairly easy. The girls had roped Drew and Dallas into the adventure, and both boys seemed equally as happy to go along for the ride. Sure, the girls were a little over-excited, but it was in a adorable way. If nothing else, Harley figured there would be entertainment for their respective men as the day progressed. It was sweet of Drew to offer to drive, so she made sure not to be late meeting everyone. Grace was grabbing a few last minute things from her room, which meant Harley arrived all by herself. The first tone besides her boyfriend too, which made her all sorts of proud.
Smiling brightly as she spotted Drew, she hurried to him and threw her arms around him excitedly. "I am! Thank you for agreeing to drive everyone," she said after placing a kiss to his cheek; trying and failing to contain herself as she bounced in place.
