Who: Jai and Zahra When: Evening What: Catching up Where: Her Room Rating: Low? Jai had been off the radar a little bit when it came to Zahra, he’d kind of let himself fall to the side as she got busy with school stuff. He tried to justify it to himself that he was still learning the rhythm of her life but really he’d freaked himself out and taken the opportunity to step back and watch from afar. He hadn't meant to fall right off the radar, though he’d had a little contact with her, but now that he’d worked a few things out and she seemed to have a moment spare he was ready to be right front and center again. Of course he wouldn't admit any of this to her or any other living being- what was he going to say? The great Jai Gadin doubted that he was worth her? He’d never live that down.
He had to admit he’d gotten quite disheartened when she hadn't texted him back and part of him was sure she was mad at him about being MIA. But then she’d explained and he’d decided right on the spot that she didn't need Christmas cheer, she needed a good meal and relaxation before she went back at it. So he’d borrowed meat from his roommates little stash and put together a traditional Indian meal of Butter Chicken with a vegetarian one for him. He’d left hers in a casserole dish so she had a way to store it should she not eat it all tonight. His was in a large Tupperware container and the ride in another Tupperware container.
He was dressed in a simple pair of jeans and simple white shirt. He left his room and made his way over to hers unable to knock on the door he kicked it three times softly announcing that he was there.
