AFTER DINNER | RIKA/KWAN
Orika found Kwan's response rather interesting for it's lack of information. Perhaps the last member of their group was doing all right; or perhaps Kwan was simply telling her what she wished to hear and forgoing adding to rumor and conjecture. Either way, it seemed as if all would know for themselves soon enough.
She was much more pleased to see the conversation segue into something more "personal". At the compliment the vampire played coy and demure by lowering her eyes, and inclining her head to the side just a bit; a single finger ran along the rim of her wine glass in lazy circles. "You're the first one to say so, actually." Perhaps his brother had intimated so; but still, he had not said the words themselves. Rika angle her body again and that slit opened up just a little bit more; her eyes rose to watch Kwan, "I was beginning to believe I was dull stone in a roomful of gems."
