He hadn't missed the look that had crossed over her face only a minute before and he was well aware that her thoughts were following him. But he wasn't going to comment on it for a moment. There was a silence between them as Kwan moved to join her on the couch. It wasn't a bad silence though. It was comfortable, as it was always had been. He sipped the tea quietly as he settled into the comfortable couch. All that needed to be done was to change the decor of the room a little bit and it would be impossible to tell that anything had changed.
He had so much he wanted to ask her. And then part of didn't want to ask her anything but just to kiss her. Did he want to open the door to actual feelings again? He wasn't sure he really wanted to do that but the feelings between them weren't the only thing he wanted to talk to her about. He knew Riona wouldn't start talking until he did. He had after all showed up in her room at eleven o'clock at night.
He took another sip of his tea before his dark eyes caught her's again. "Why did you end things so suddenly Riona?" he asked her, "You never really gave me a reason." His eyes didn't leave hers as he waited for her to answer.
