Right Side, Towards Back | Charlie/Hayden
Charlie was excited for this premiere for a few reasons. For one, it was Nacola and Garrett's new movie, which was a romantic comedy. They were her friends and the little love angel couldn't deny her affinity for love stories, which made it pretty much the best thing she could ever imagine. For two, it was a pajama party premiere! What was better than watching a movie with all your friends, one nobody else had seen yet, while in your pajamas?! Charlie couldn't think of anything better, and the retro idea of bringing back slumber parties was entirely appealing. Last, but certainly not least, Hayden had asked her to go with him. ON A DATE! She could hardly contain her excitement there, though she was also a little nervous. The angel felt all sorts of butterflies (among other things) when she was around Hayden. What if she lost control again? What if he didn't like her as much as she liked him? She was so afraid of getting her heart broken again, but Charlie couldn't help but want to spend time with the unicorn. She just couldn't resist.
Getting ready might have seemed simple, but Gia and her sister had assured her it wasn't. She wanted to look cute, but not rumpled or disheveled. It might be a slumber party theme, but it was still a date Cody reminded her. Her twin also pointed out that a little bit of temptation never hurt anyone, and so after much agonizing, Charlie finally chose what was deemed the perfect pajama set. It was innocent and sweet, yet with a sexy undertone that practically screamed tease (in Cody's words) Charlie had left her hair down in waves, and only added a little bit of pink lip gloss. This was a movie, after all. Hayden probably wouldn't be looking at her that much anyway.
By the time she arrived at the theatre, there were already tons of people there. A quick scan didn't show her Hayden right away, so she grabbed a few snacks and made her way towards the open seats still left. Charlie chose a set towards the back and off to the right, but they could still see the screen just fine. It also provided a bit of intimacy and the illusion of privacy, though she told herself that didn't matter. This was not about that. Her nerves swirled as she waited, and she began munching idly on popcorn in an attempt to distract herself as she tried not to freak out.
