WHO: Cady and Kaleb WHEN: Sunday July 15. Afternoon. WHERE: Music room. WHAT: Cuteness of the musical kind! Ahem. RATING: Low! Don't make her blush MORE. OPEN: NO <3
Cady had already finished her homework, so Sunday was proving to be a very boring day. She had tried reading a few books, but she just focus enough to get into them. There were no miscellaneous chores she had to do around the dorm, and her friends were busy with practices or the homework they hadn't finished. It was sad, but she could find something to do on her own. Right? After a little bit of sitting around in a funk just staring and thinking, she finally made a decision. There had been a few ideas floating around in her head recently, so Cady decided the music room was the only natural fix for this problem. She could flesh out some of the songs, and playing/writing always made her feel accomplished and complete. It still surprised her that people had taken her other song and spread it so viral, though that's not why she grabbed her guitar and headed to the music building with a spring in her step. Cady had meant what she said. She didn't play or perform or write in order to be famous. She just liked doing it because music was such a big part of her life.
Finding an empty room was surprisingly easy, and she didn't hesitate to take a seat and settle in comfortably. After a few test strums on her guitar, and a lot of failed sounds, Cady finally got it started the way she liked. The song was another one she just wrote because, as it was something she'd been working on with her brother, and this one was not about her current obsession with a certain Mystic Veil musician. She was embarrassed that Kaleb had heard her song when everyone else was broadcasting it, since she was terrified he'd figure out what it was about. Shaking those thoughts away, she kept playing, not noticing at first when the door opened....
