MAIN FIRE - MIDNIGHT | Bambi/Trent/Aerinn
Trent was at a lost for words during this interaction. He had never seen anyone like her before. He just didn't know what to do other than let her dance around him. And dance she did. His eyes never left her though and he did eventually reach for her. Gently holding her hip as she moved her hips. People didn't dance like this at court. Every minute he spent at this school Trent felt more and more naive.
There was no concept of the time that had past as she met his eyes. He could stare at those beautiful eyes forever. Maybe he had, he didn't know. When she finally broke the silence Trent smiled at her. "I can dance." he answered, "Just not like you." It was a true answer. He was a very good dancer when it came to the formal movements of balls but he had never been exposed to this. So he had no idea here he would even start.
Before she could say anything they were joined by none other than Aerinn. The look on her face as she looked between the two of them had a pang of guilt. He suddenly realized how this must look and he knew better than that. When her eyes dropped to look at their hands Trent realized for the first time that he was holding the other girl's hand and he released it, silently cursing himself for being so stupid. He was about to open is mouth when Aerinn spoke but she didn't address him. Instead he addressed the girl he was with. Or at least he assumed that was her name.
