Zahra understood what Jai meant and she wasn't ready to deeply examine her feelings on the subject. Couldn't they just continue to get to know one another and have fun? One way to do that would be to go to parties together? Or they could have just 'arranged' to meet here.
Shrugging her shoulders, Zahra replied, "Well, who cares what other people think, right?" Perhaps Jai didn't like people speculating. He was from the nobility, she wasn't. She was unfamiliar with Phoenix society; one of the reasons she'd taken the class this semester.
She smiled when he rose and when the music began to play, he started to dance around her. Dance, dance; not that ridiculous stuff that most boys tended to do. "Well, look at you," she mused as she too began to dance, giving him a most genuine smile.
