"A man who can multi-task," Xanthe remarked dryly. "A rare creature. Sounds intriguing." She slid her free hand into Cole's offered arm with grace and class. Raising the cigarette to her red lips, she made no apologies for checking Cole out from behind the darkened shades as he led her through the charming city of Florence. Perhaps she should have been a little less flirty with a man like Cole, he had a reputation, and so did she. However, she was alone, there wasn't any prying eyes from school to report back to GB or her sister. And Cole was fucking gorgeous. Truth be told, Xanthe was lonely. She had friends, fucking fabulous ones, but her sex life was rather quiet at the moment, what with Kaedyn getting serious with his tattooed phoenix. And Xanthe, despite her aversion to relationships, found herself, here in this city, wanting some romance, for the first time in her life. Was it wrong to pretend just for a few moments that she could be a normal girl with a normal boyfriend in a romantic city? That was when the idea hit her and she stopped walking and looked at Cole.
She raised her sunglasses to see his face. "Let's play a game, Cole." At the intrigued look she received, she leaned forward, mere inches from his face. "Pretend I'm your girlfriend." She waited for that to sink in, before she continued. "Show me your city, Cole."
