Candy had to admit, being back at school after going home for three weeks was a little tough. Sure, she'd missed all of her friends, but there was just something about being home that felt so good. The only thing missing from her beautiful country of origin was Dani, and that was the main thing that brought the colorful fae back a week early. It might seem pathetic, but she'd missed her girlfriend and phone calls just weren't enough. Not to mention her parents had booked a cruise for their anniversary and were scheduled to leave on Monday morning. As much as Candy hated cutting their visit short, she was glad to be back at Mystic Veil. Now she had a week to relax, see the friends who had stayed at the academy or come back early, and just get settled before school started again. She didn't mind a little boredom, though it quickly grew tiresome despite only being back a day. Noel was who knew where, and her room was also decidedly empty, which led her to find ways of entertaining herself. There was one place she always went when she had some free time on her hands, and Candy didn't hesitate to head there today.
After getting dressed quickly, and pulling her currently cotton-candy colored hair into a unique braided style, she was ready to go. There was a bounce in her step as she made her way to the gardens, and Candy was soon seated in one of her favorite clearings. The sky was a beautiful blue, with only a few puffy white smatterings of clouds, and it was a perfect day. Unlike Australia, which had their seasons backwards in comparison, the temperature here was gorgeous. No humidity, nice and warm, making the grass she was seated on like a heated blanket. Absently, Candy braided a few flowers, making them into chains for necklaces as her head bopped to the music coming from her iPod. Surrounded by bright colors and sunshine was heaven for the fae, and she was content to stay here in this secluded haven for the rest of the day if need be....
