ENTRANCE PATH | Jonathan Quentin, Calix Blackstone, Trinity St. John & Wyn Savage
Calix could sense the change in the atmosphere between her and Jonathon when Trinity arrived. Perhaps it was that change that made her less pleased to see the blonde girl. “It would defiantly be nice.” She answered Jonathan, trying to continue their conversation and to keep her smile sweet and flirtatious. If Trinity hadn’t been there she might have had more to say on the subject but instated she just let it slip away as she accepted the champagne flute he offered her. She sipped the drink delicately as she listened to the conversation about the vampire queen. She knew very little about their politics, other than what Chester learned from J.A. (Who probably wasn’t the best source ever.)
Calix looked at Trinity’s cool blue eyes. She could remember a time when they would have gotten along so well but things had changed and nobody knew why. She honestly wasn’t sure how they would get along not. Though they would had to if she intended to spend much time with Jonathan. Calix merely nodded her agreement when she said they knew each other. She honestly wasn’t sure how to take that second sentence however. It could be taken as innocent commentary as it could be more. It was safety however to, especially at this event, to assume it was innocent.
Calix looked back to Jonathan. She was still leaning in to him and was about to speak again when the commotion started. She gasped in surprise as Trinity moved. She was faster than Calix could really process. She didn’t even see the guys face until he was on the ground. REALLY? He was that determined to get her attention. How pathetic was hat. When he glanced at Calix she rolled her eyes before she turned her attention back to Trinity. She smiled at the blonde’s comments. Perhaps it was her first real smile she had given her. And then it happened. Calix gasped loudly as she watched the red wine go all over the white suit. Now THAT was unacceptable.
Wyn was at Trinity’s side before Calix could completely remove herself from Jonathan. Calix was completely uninterested in the apology Wyn demanded from Trinity and she stepped gracefully around both of them so she stood face to face with the low level fae boy. She didn’t even know his name! There was brief moment of silence full of tension before she brought her hand across his face in a movement that was strong enough to whip his head to one side. “Do you honestly think that is an appropriate way to get the attention of a lady?” She demanded from him, “Because you are sorely mistaken.” She didn’t wait for an answer before she turned back to Trinity and the others.
“If you boys will excuse us, I need to find Trinity something to change in to.” She was angry with the fae’s antics and she didn’t pause before she took Trinity’s arm to lead her away.
