OUTDOOR GARDEN | Adrian & Lyri
The blush that spread across Lyri's cheeks was just absolutely adorable. He couldn't help the naughty smirk that slid across his lips as he winked at her. He didn't say anything else to further make her blush or possibly feel uncomfortable. Although the look she gave him couldn't be called scandalized, it was definitely communicating that he was naughty indeed. Adrian couldn't help the easy laugh that came from his lips as he escorted her to lake side. She looked at him a bit confused as he asked her sing. But sing she did her voice soft, in a language he didn't know, but assumed was her native tongue.
The knight stood a little away from her, just watching her, his eyes rapt on her as she swayed as she sang. Her eyes caught the movement and she looked down, the lights appearing and swimming towards her, she was suddenly in his arms, her own arms around his waist. Her eyes never left the swimming lights. Adrian's smile was warm as he edged them closer to the water's edge, the swimming lights circling and staying around them.
"They're fish," he said with a grin. "I don't know what they are technically called. Roxy calls them the glitter fish." He shrugged at that. With a smile he started to sing, his voice clear, a surprisingly rich tenor, rising in volume gradually, and as he did, the fish glowed brighter. The song he sang was an old fae song, perhaps it could be called a lullaby, called "Buain na Rainich." It was one of his favorite songs. As he sang he held her in his arms, singing to the fish, and towards the end of the song to her.
"Ciod am feum dhomh bhi ri tuireadh? Dè ni tuireadh dhomhsa, 'S mi cho fada o gach duine, B' urrainn tighinn gam chòmhnadh?" As he finished he smiled down at her, thinking how beautiful she was at that moment in the light of the bright moon, the rapt wonder on her face.
