OUTDOOR GARDEN | Adrian & Lyri
Adrian didn't press her for her secret wish. It was true she wasn't able to share it or it wouldn't come true. Instead he continued to harmlessly flirt and flatter her. It was part of his natural charm. And he never lied. Especially not to pretty girls about how very beautiful they were at that very moment.
"None that compare to you, Lyriana," he answered smoothly, with that flirtatious smile on his lips still. As she glanced around as if expecting one to jump out at her, he couldn't help the loud laugh that escaped him.
"You're perfectly safe, I'm sure," he finally was able to answer. "The ladies here play nicely. And most are quite adept at sharing." He didn't quite mean it as it came out, but the words were out before he could stop them. He continued, leading her towards a little lit up cove of the lake. Pointing down at the clear glass-like water, he smiled up at her. "Sing something," he said softly. The lake held magical phosphorescent fish that glowed with magical colors when sung to at night, and he wanted to see the look on her face when they surfaced and swam towards her when she sang.
