OUTDOOR GARDEN | Adrian & Lyri
As Lyri rushed to his side, Adrian didn't hesitate when she reached for his hand and laced his fingers with hers. The slight warmth that ran up his hand didn't bother him, instead encouraged him to gently hold her closer then perhaps he should. But she was beaming up at him, her beautiful elfin face telling him what she had seen while he was otherwise occupied. His own smile matched hers watt for watt. It was as if through her he was seeing the court through brand new eyes. Each of the beautiful things was even more beautiful seen through her innocence and wonder of seeing them for the first time.
"Did you make a wish?" he asked softly, as he turned her to face him. For the first time in Adrian's life (except with Roxy and Nacola) he wasn't thinking of trying to get the lovely young creature in front of him into bed. He was only thinking about how to keep making her smile at him she way she was. He wanted her to be happy and carefree. This Lyri was a far cry from the scarred and scared girl whom would only respond to him only months ago. The feeling he got in his chest was one he could quite describe, but seeing her so happy, just made him happy. And she looked so beautiful in the moonlight and the twinkling fairy lights.
"I know I've already informed you of this," he started with a conspiratorial smile on his lips. "But your beauty tonight rivals the moon herself." He took that hand in his and raised it to his lips, placing a soft kiss on the back of her hand.
