Watching Atreyu's reaction, there was obvious confusion in her blue eyes. She had none of the inside knowledge about the girl that he seemed to, and Alessia felt more than a little lost; at least until he smiled and attempted to explain. Surprise moved across her face as he clarified, and she couldn't help the smirk that formed on her lips at the thought. "I always suspected as much. She has that look in her eyes," she mused, choosing not to voice the fact that she recognized it only because she had it herself. "I can't wait to meet her and see for myself, though." It was her policy not to judge people based on rumors, though Atreyu's words hardly seemed malicious. He seemed amused enough by her misconceptions, and any friend would teasingly say as much after hearing something so incredibly off.
"Do you have a system for deciding who qualifies as a groupie and who's special enough to receive a repeat invitation?" Alessia looked amused, though her eyes held a challenging light too. She wasn't put off by his honesty, quite the opposite, but that didn't mean she was going to let Atreyu off with his cavalier way of describing his love life woes. She had to wonder if this was the type of interaction all of those girls saw that drew them in, and for a minute Alessia wondered what she was doing. She didn't want to look like a fool, to be a story he told another girl weeks later, but she also didn't really know if that was the case or not. She'd just met Atreyu, but something kept her from excusing herself as the topic became a little dicey.
Shaking her head, she smiled teasingly. "I didn't have anything specific in mind, was just wondering how close I was to being pushed into that 'persistent groupie' category," she replied, winking.
