Sneaking out was so much easier to do now that Alessia was going to be away from home. Her parents thought it would be a good idea for her to have some structure, something formal and prestigious, that would hopefully calm her down a little. The idea of Mystic Veil had made the young swan frown at first, but she figured now that she was settling in her tune was changing. There was a friend of the family who lived close to the school that were supposed to be her "hosts" while she wasn't living on campus, but they were easy enough to slip by. The harder sell was her twin, though Alessia usually only had to bat her eyes a few times and he gave in too. Tonight she was free from all restraints thanks to a road trip she'd arranged with some friends from back home. The girls had planned to drive across country, stopping in every city that held a proper show, until they got to New York where Alessia would take a plane to Canada and her new school. Getting her parents to agree to this road trip had involved a lot of convincing on her part, and the omission of the rock concert part of the plan. It took awhile, but Alessia and her friend were good at pretending to be good, so eventually they got the okay.
Tonight's show had been pretty amazing so far, and the young swan hadn't hung back one bit once the music started. Music was one thing she loved most in the world, and she didn't need to know the band to have a good time. Whoever was on stage, named Devil's Rejects according to the banner behind them, was fucking amazing. Alessia lost herself in the songs and atmosphere, dancing without a care whenever the urge struck. As things came to a close, she was disappointed, but still riding the energetic high the concert had inspired. Both girls decided to hang around a bit more, so Alessia broke from her friend for a moment to go to the bar for a refill on their drinks.
