BACKPOST THREAD: Nyx & Lia
Who: Nyx Shadowbrook & Lia Martienu When: May 31st, 2012, evening Where: Lia's hospital room What: Nyx is visiting Lia. Conversations ensure. Rating: Medium Open: Nope. Not to anyone.
Onyx wasn't the kind of person who could accept that things were as they were, or that things happened. He was not the kind of man who would allow someone else to take care of something he could do better and more effectively. And when it came to scumbags who chose the wrong girl to make an example of, he hadn't wasted any time in exacting his own brand of revenge against those that had been involved beating Lia. And when he thought about, that those cretins had hit her, beating her so badly she was still in the hospital, it made him so angry. Not in that white hot kind of way, but in a cold, ruthless way. And that was what made him so much more dangerous then the average person. He had friends in high and low places, and he wasn't afraid to get a little red in his ledger. Not when it came to putting those bastards into their place for daring to harm his lady.
He knew that she was upset that he hadn't come right away, but he had to move fast to get the information he needed and to put together his plan of revenge. It had taken some effort, but a few well placed calls and the wheels were set in motion. Nyx didn't think about the fact that perhaps Lia wouldn't be comfortable with the things he had done, but that didn't change his mind. They had DARED to touch one of the few people he had chosen to protect. Nyx walked easily through the hospital, not hurrying, but obviously on a mission. He stopped at a counter and smiled at the nurse there.
"Kalika Martineu's room please," he said, his soft Italian accent making the nurse visibly melt. She shook herself and then answer with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry visiting hours are over," she said softly. Nyx nodded and then leaned in to speak low to her. "I was unaware of the hours," he said, even though he did, he had done this because it would mean no one else would be there. "Please, it would mean the world to me if you would allow me just a little while with her, as I've been very busy with finals and hadn't been able to get her until now." She hesitated for a moment and he smiled at her. She finally nodded and told him her room. "Gratzi, bella," he said as he followed when she had pointed. A few doors down he found her private room and knocked softly. He slipped in the door, noticing the many, many, many flowers in the room.
"Ciao Bella," he greeted her dark eyes on the Lia. She was still beautiful even bruised and stitched. As he usually did he kissed her gently on both cheeks before perching on the edge of her bed. "My apologies for being late," he whispered softly, as he smoothed her blonde hair gently away from her face, his dark eyes holding her beautiful blue ones.
