THREAD: Leia & Will
Who: Leia Saunders & Will Ryder
When: Saturday, June 1st, evening
Where: Leia's Dorm Room/Shared living space with Nat
What: Will's birthday!!! She's cookin' dinner and made cupcakes!
Rating: Medium.
Open: Nope. Maybe to GB noticing.
Leia was beyond excited that Will had accepted her invitation to come to her dorm to let her cook for him and watch a movie together. She was hoping since she was in her own dorm she would feel more comfortable then out in public and then her nervous ability to say the stupidest things would be negated. And to help her though that she had started to drink before he came over. Half a glass of wine in and she had made Nat help her pick out her dress which was new and something she had made herself, out of a cotton print she couldn't resist picking up. She wore no shoes, because she was in her own dorm and cooking, and even wearing a dress was probably over-kill, especially since she and Nat usually had a 'pants off' zone in their dorm room, since they were usually too lazy to want to wear much clothing. However it was Will's birthday and Leia was going to win that boy's heart if it was the last thing the unicorn did. Finishing her glass of wine she 'suggested' Nat go entertain herself elsewhere unless Leia panicked and texted her later to come save her from the foot she was probably about to choke on.
Will would be here soon and Leia was feeling pretty good with a glass and half of wine in her system and the smells of the vegetarian lasagna she had been cooking all afternoon was filling the apartment. She had promised Nat she would save her a piece. The cupcakes she had made were covered on the counter. She had gotten over her intial freakout that he was indeed coming to her dorm to hang out with her and was just eagerly anticipating his arrival. It was when she heard the knock on the door that she called out to him, "Coming!" and put her half empty glass of white wine down, making her way to the door. She opened it with a smile and threw her arms around Will's neck, hugging him, instead of the supid awkward handshake she had done their first disaster date.
"I'm so excited you're here," she said eagerly, a bright smile on her face. "I mean, I'm s happy you decided to hang out with me," she amended, trying not to look like an overexcited fan girl. Because she wasn't. She was a girl with a crush on a boy. Who just happened to be famous and freakin' amazingly perfect in her eyes. She still had her arms around his neck as she spoke, a little more effected by the alcohol then she thought she was. Realizing she was still draped on him, she blushed and let him go, opening the door. "Dinner is almost ready," she told him. "And if you're a really good birthday boy, maybe I'll even break out the Catwoman costume for you, or the slave Leia one." She winked at him as she moved to check on the lasagna, surprised at her own ability to flirt with Will like a normal girl for once.
