Point for both of them, with excising just a tiny bit of self control. Severian wasn't entirely sure how long his self control would last around her, because since the break up, he either wanted to kiss her senseless or strangle her. He wasn't sure which would work better at this very moment. Probably the latter, even though he was sure to enjoy the former much more. He could see something in her blue eyes as she agreed with him that infanticide should be avoided. Was she trying not to smile? The thought that she was fighting smiling at him, was conflicting to Sev. Should he be angry that she wouldn't just be herself, the way she was before all this drama, or happy that he was sorta evoking something else in her, other then disdain and shame? That he was making her act more like her old self? Unsure what he actually felt, he turned away and pulled out his own notebook and pen, leaning on one arm to look up at her, noticing the graceful curve of her now exposed neck. His dark eyes lingered on it, before moving up to her face and catching those gorgeous eyes and holding them, the thoughts and memories right there in his own dark eyes. For a long moment neither said anything. And then he looked away, at the sheet of paper, trying to resist looking back at her.
"We're already divorced," he muttered, a soft sardonic laugh on his lips as he started to draw out a chart for the week, breaking it up into days and periods.
"Let's make it as fair as possible. I have potions club meetings every Monday afternoon and Wednesday evenings, so those are the only afternoons you need take it. I'll take it whenever you have all your other sports and commitments." All of those things that were more important then their friendship and relationship...
