WHO: Dallas and Grace (And anyone at lunch xD) WHEN: [Backdated] April 24, Lunch Time WHERE: The Cafeteria WHAT: Dallas is serenading his lady (or hopefully SOON-TO-BE lady) RATING: Low OPEN: Nope!
The morning had been spent in preparation of the performance he had planned for lunch. Dallas had been through it a million times, though he was still nervous something would go wrong. It's not like he worried Grace would laugh at him, but he wanted it to be perfect for her. By the time lunch rolled around, however, he didn't have anything left to do but wait. He'd planned out her schedule, and knew she got out of class around a certain time. Of course she could be late or skip lunch, but Dallas was counting on her following a schedule today. He'd gotten to the cafeteria early himself, skipping the last half of his class so he could set up the music and everything else he would need for the performance. A few friends from sports had agreed to help with the sound and everything, so he was left to wait for Grace once everything was ready. His heart was pounding as he watched the doorway carefully, and as soon as she did, the show began.
Not hesitating, the music started as soon as her foot stepped into the room. Dallas pushed all the nerves aside, moving forward as he began to sing. The entrance was timed perfectly to how she was walking through the door as he said the first line, and he'd arranged for heads to turn as Grace moved by. He was immersed in the song and his feelings for her, and all Dallas could do as he proceeded was hope he hadn't wasted his chance by being a bonehead.
