. So don't give me those big doe eyes, Catalina Menounos."
Since she didn't mind, Brendin decided they would pick up something sweet from the boardwalk vendor instead. They chatted about nothing in particular as they made their way back down the dock in the direction they had originally come. It didn't take them long and there weren't nearly the same amount of people than the afternoon; though Brendin knew the next wave would come for the nighttime activities at the bars and restaurants. He paid for their ice cream and the two found a large, natural rock to sit on right near the water enabling them to watch the boats moving in and out of the harbor and the sun to finally set.
