"OH" So what did he say? Did he say he would be happy to cuddle in any backseat with her? Would that be too overt? Brendin was over-thinking this but he wasn't so consumed with what he should or shouldn't say that he didn't see her blush...and her blush made him blush because now they were both thinking the same thing.
"Olives are not slimy, Lina. I have no idea what you have been eating." This was always a comical argument simply because it was so ridiculous, "Snails are slimy. Mussels and oysters are slimy; not olives." Brendin tried to be serious but simply couldn't help the smile he had.
They reached the end of the Pier and the Farmer's Market. He'd only been there once himself so he hoped for the chance to explore. Holding the door open for Catalina, the two entered together and let their eyes adjust to change in light. Seeing all of the people, Brendin felt that familiar queasy feeling flutter at the back of his throat. He really didn't do well in huge crowds, but he would push through it for Lina. The place itself was enormous and so he asked, "So, where should we start?"
