She couldn't explain how close she already felt to Alex. She just did and if she was honest with herself she was more comfortable with him than most guys she knew. He seemed to feel no need to hide any of the emotions that he felt. That was even more clear on stage. Virginia couldn't hide her confusion as the room filled with emotion with the song. She didn't know the story behind it but Ophelia did and she filled her and Spencer in. The lost of someone so close was something Virginia could understand.
There was no way that she could conceal her bright smile as he pulled her in to a hug. If Spencer wasn't completely distracted by Deuce she would have seen how ridiculously happy Virginia was as Alex kept his arm wrapped around her shoulders and she kept her arm wrapped around his waist. She was still smiling as she turned to look at him as he spoke. She had known that there would be socializing after the show. They were in his home town after all so the people out there weren't just fans, they were fans. Her smile should have spoken her answer as her eyes met his but she didn't get a chance to say anything before there was a addition to the room.
Virginia's hazel eyes scanned the pinup beauty as she threw herself in to Alex's arms. She was trying to tell her self to not be jealous as she was completely ignored by the girl. When Alex turned to introduce her, however, Virginia smiled. She was going to try to be friendly even though she was already getting a very different vibe. Virginia's hazel eyes met Anna's blue ones but she didn't lose her smile. The story actually was adorable and would be even more so if her words weren't soaked in the jealously that Alex seemed to oblivious to. It was that happy twinkle in Alex's eyes that back the real smile to Virgina's lips. She laughed and asked Anna "Fickle in your choices?" Her voice was light and it was clear she was trying to be teasing.
Clearly Brett hadn't missed the interaction happening on the other side of the green room as he very suddenly appeared by Anna's other side with Ophelia by his side. "Time to head out front?" He asked before acknowledging Anna. "Hey!" he said happily before he gave her a quick hug. He liked Anna as a friend and everything he just knew that Anna and Alex were bad. it would never actually work out and he really had never been a fan of the way she bounced back and forth between Alex and Ryan. She was still a friend though. "OH! I should introduce you." He said as he pulled Ophelia more forward. "Anna this is my girlfriend Ophelia, who is refusing to come up front with me, so she is going to hang back here with Spencer." It was a very quick introduction before he made the move to scoot everyone towards the door. He purposely moved to nudge Deuce and Anna out the door first before he pushed Alex after them before he looked at Virginia. He didn't know if she intended to stay back here with her sister or if she was coming out with them. He was pretty sure she would be joining them but he didn't want to assume that was the case.
Virginia smiled at Brett as she stepped around him to catch up with Alex. It only took a step or two before she caught up with him and slipped her hand in to his gloved one.
