She found it quite odd that she couldn't remember Lola coming to visit. Had she slept that much? Was she hurt so badly that they had her on such strong medications that she only remembered one person coming to see her? Very strange indeed.
As Adrian held her hand, a nurse popped into the room to check on Lyri's IV. Hearing the bad voice again, the unicorns heart rate increased and she clamped ahold of her friends' hands. Eyes wide with fright followed the sound of the voice as it drew closer but clouded with confusion as the deep voice slowly melded into a womans.
It was like a veil being lifted as a nurse faded into view and Lyri glanced between her and Adrian, the two of them giving each other a stare that seemed to indicate something. When the nurse asked if she was okay, Lyri nodded in the affirmative which seemed to make the woman quite happy. The other female thanked Adrian as she shuffled out of the room quite happily. "There's something wrong with me, isn't there?" The question was rather blunt, but Lyriana wasn't much for subtlety. "People have come to see me...and I don't see them, do I? I hear and see the bad people, not the good ones. Except you."
