Thread: Rory & Heith
Who: Rory Revnik & Heith Revnik
When: Monday, March 5th 2012; After sundown
Where: Rory's dormroom
What: Heith found out about the lust potion. Sibling heart to heart.
Rating: Low. (Bad langugae I'm sure.)
Open: Nope.
Rory had been even more quiet and withdrawn then normal. Of course with the tragic attack she had an excuse as terrible as it felt to think. She felt horrible and sick at the thought of her fellow students and professors who had been killed in the attack. It had given her something else to think about other the way she had practically melted into Reiland's arms when he had been under the influence of that lust spell gone awry. Needless to say she hadn't spoken to him other then through texts over the last few days, making sure he was fine and vice versa. Rory was pretending as hard as she could that the incident had never happened. She hadn't told her roommate or even Song about it. If she talked about it then it was real, and something she needed to deal with and that wasn't happening. Of course Rory could live in denial of her feelings for years, but to lie to someone's face was something else completely. And so she had avoided her brother, Reiland and Harrison, using the excuse of volunteering and practice to easily avoid all three. And Rei had been lying to her anyway, feigning sickness to avoid her. After leaving him that evening she had gone later that night to the clinic to get a pill just to be sure, even though she had been on the pill for years, for health reasons that ran in her family.
At the moment she was hiding in her room having volunteered all day, practiced at lunch and then after dinner. She had already showered and should have been doing the homework that had been postponed. But instead she was restless, feeling pent up and angry, at Reiland, but mostly at herself. She should have known there was something wrong with him. What was wrong with her? Was she so desperate for him to reciprocate her feelings, as hidden and deep down as they were, that she was willing to sacrifice her own relationship with a great guy, their friendship and their partnership? There was a letter in a large sealed envelope sitting on her vanity from the World Ballet Competition. It had been there for three days now and still she hadn't opened it. It was large enough that she was sure it was their acceptance and she couldn't face it yet. Not while she was feeling so...
Truth was Rory wasn't sure what she was feeling. And as much of a control freak as she was, not being in control of her emotions and the situation she was in, had her anxious. And so she was working alone in her bedroom with the small practice space she had carved out. Dressed in a pair of black leggings and a slouchy top which she had put on for bed, and a pair of her pale pink pointe shoes, she had her Ipod on a mix of upbeat pop music, as she danced a combination of ballet, modern and jazz, mixing up her styles to try to force herself to concentrate. At the moment a song by Aaralyn Knowles was on, a racy little number called "Roc Me Out."
