Who: Ilana and Atreyu When: Wednesday Night Where: The Dorm Kitchen What: A doomed attempt at making a cake Rating: Low, they haven't gotten any higher yet.
Something told Atreyu this idea was only going to end badly. Seriously what the hell was a boy who only went in to the kitchen to get drink and a girl who couldn't even cook soup going to do with cake mix and a baking pan? It was Ilana's idea to start with. She thought it would add a nice personal touch to Romeo's birthday if they made him a cake themselves. Atreyu though Romeo would be perfectly happy if he ordered a big enough cake and somehow managed to talk London in to jumping out of it. Actually he might be more happy with that than a homemade cake. Alas the chances of getting London to do that was slim. So here they were attempting to make a cake. Not that Atreyu was complaining. It was time to just hang out with Ilana. At least he was smart enough to do this several days before the party, that way if it went bad (WHEN it went bad) they would have time to order a cake.
"I accomplished something!" Atreyu announced as he turned away from the oven. Really all he had done was turn on the oven so it would preheat. He leaned up against the counter as he watched Ilana lean over the recipe. She, like he, had NO idea where to start in this cooking endeavor. "So... What goes in the bowl first?" He asked her as his eyes moved back and forth between collection of ingredients and Ilana. She was so very pretty. He shook his head to get that thought out of his head again. He settled himself even more against the counter, getting ready to watch the backing fiasco.
