"yeah, I know what you mean," he responded as she explained what she was feeling. It was exactly what he felt. it was odd but also nice at the same time. Knowing that he could somehow feel her emotions and apparently her pain made it feel like he was always close enough to her. Though the fact that he could feel if something was wrong even if he wasn't with her and then wouldn't be able to get to her fast enough was enough motivation to be as physically close to her as he could be. "I have the same feelings, It was like I could feel that your leg hurt," he admitted.
"I mean if I try hard enough I can be," he commented in a weak attempt to inject some humor in their rather serious conversation. But in reality it was true. There was no way that he could be there every minute of every day. It was her own apology that put a quick end to any further attempts at humor.
"You don't need to apologize," he told her firmly, "You cant force yourself to not have nightmares and what happened was not your fault. Its alot of trauma to deal with." the statement left him with the suggestion of therapy on the tip of his tongue. They could both use it actually. Still he hesitated to actually make the suggestion.
"Maybe... we could make an appointment with Dr. Love," he suggested tentatively. The hyper masculine side of him was instantly against the idea. but he was working on fighting through that. Maybe it would help Corey
