Colt nodded as Brea mentioned he had healing powers but they were limited. He could see how much blood was in the buckets under Corey’s wounds. FUCK he could smell how much it was. She had lost so much. Logan was only a little better in terms of blood loss. But she didn’t have the same type of injuries. Shock was going to take Corey nearly as fast as the blood loss. Was there a vampire trick he could use? He didn’t want to try to turn her though. Was there a way without turning her?
Brea was speaking again, giving him more instructions. It was the only thing that pulled him out of his panicked thoughts. In Colt’s opinion clear instructions was one of the best possible things. “Touch her? But I don’t want to hurt her,” he said. His protest was moot though as he couldn’t resist the need to touch her any longer. He knelt down in front of her.
“Corey, Baby,” he said softly reaching out to hold her face in both hands, “Baby, you cant leave me, ok? I’m lost without you.” One hand stayed on her chin and cheek as the other moved to brush strands of dark hair out of her face. If felt like he was literally begging her not to completely fade away.
“Remember all the plans we have. Baby I cant do any of that without you.”
