Honestly, Bryan had NO idea what was going on. Granted that wasn't an entirely new situation for him but it was especially poignant at the moment. Bryan didn't pay any attention to the way she babbled in Russian. He didn't understand it anyway and he figured she would realize that soon enough if she wanted him to understand.
Bryan was a psych major and while no expert he knew enough to know that crushing crowds and pounding music would do nothing to help her panic attack. which was why they ended up in the mostly quiet and more importantly empty green room. He tried to walk her through calming breaths but Ksenia abandoned the exercise quickly. His dark eyes followed her as she paced, and muttered in Russian. He didn't try to hide his confusion but he was realized when he noticed some of the smaller signs of her starting to calm.
He was about to speak when she finally started speaking English. He nodded as she told him she couldn't go back out there. She didn't have. Well, she would eventually but not now. "What wasn't?" he asked but she didn't seem to hear him. She was still pacing, panicking, and clearly trying to block something out. Something traumatic, something he could relate to way more than he would like.
Bryan was unsurprised as she sunk to the floor, sobbing. It was a damn good thing crying girls didn't really both him. Deeming it safe to move away from the door finally, Bryan approached her. His eyes met hers as she looked up at him just before he sunk to sit next to her on the floor.
"No one wants to feel this way," he told her. the statement was obvious but it was validating. "Though I can tell you that drinking yourself into a stupor isnt actually going to help," he added before he gave her a small smile. His face was full of empathy as he held her sad eyes before adding, "That isn't to say that I follow my own advice cause I definitely don't but it doesn't change that it is true." He let the silence sit between them for a moment.
"Who is he, Ksenia?" he asked finally prompting her to talk at least a little about what made her panic.
