Jingi's eyes shifted back to Jem at the sound she made. He couldn't help the look of complete surprise that crossed his face. He wasn't actually expecting the younger idol to comment or make any reaction on that. She didn't make any further comments though. Instead, she focused back on dating in their world. She wasn't wrong. Dating in the industry was hard. Her comments about Rose and Key were not inaccurate in any way. He wished what was going on there wasn't happening at all. Even more, than he wished the netizens would stop being so cruel about shit. Jem didn't give him a moment to comment though she kept talking. He didn't miss the look on her face that made him raise an eyebrow. he didn't make a comment though until she reached the end of her obvious opinion.
"Sounds like you got that all figured out," he told her after she declared her plan to never date another idol and to never date someone wasn't an idol and that she simply didn't do distractions. "I'm not actually sure how well that is going to work for you but its good to have a plan." His face was seriously for a moment before it softened.
"I get it. The idea of dating in our world can seem stupid and futile. Inevitably something is gonna blow up and it will either be in their face or your face or it's gonna fuck over you both." he told her, "But when it works, even if its for a short time, it is great to have that person that its ok to talk to, to lean on a little or just someone that makes you happy spending time with them. It's important for a person to have that." he paused for a moment as he took another sip of his drink. "And I'm not saying you should be seeking it out at every moment but I would suggest trying to not completely close yourself off to it either."
