"My co-parent is otherwise occupied leaving me with five boys experiancing American life for the first time," he countered quickly, "And don't let him fool you, he can require just as much parenting." Jingi settled himself against the counter to talk with her
"I mean I had to deal with the aftermath of said hexing," he pointed out. Honestly, Jingi felt a little guilty about that one. He should have been more on top of everything that day but instead, he had completely given in to impulse to ignore his phone. it was very unlike him. Jem continued rolling her eyes at Youra and Sun. They were an adorable couple. and in the big picture, Jem was just getting started.
"I hate to tell you this," she started before he paused to sip his wine, "But you are still just at the beginning of your Kpop parenting." There was SO much he could tell her. There were Tae's obsessional crush, Key and his scandals, Moon and Hobi, Just Moon himself... the list could go on forever. But none of it was anything he was going to tell this girl he barely knew.
He laughed again as she declared boys a distraction. "I like to think we are at least a fun distraction," he joked. really the same could be said about woman and dating in general. "I think dating is a good thing. Especially when you find someone you really like," he added. His eyes drifted to where Poppy was dancing with Nissa and he couldn't help the warm smile that crossed his face for a moment.
"Dating isn't all bad, though it can be hard to handle in our world."
