Grace| Dallas; 10:00ish pm
Grace grinned at him, “Well it was starving and in need of a little love and truth” She explained, still grinning. She noted the blush again and couldn’t help but giggle- “Are you embarrassed or just really happy to be around me?” She asked, what a blush had to do with being happy to see her- she had no idea. His kindness, his charm, his honesty had her heart fluttering. “You’re so sweet to me!” She swatted at his chest. She realized his words and realized he was as lost for words as she was, “Would you like to- I don’t know, dance? Walk? Something?” She giggled and played with her hair, she hoped he didn’t cut this short but if he did- that might be what he wanted, that was okay.
She had a shine in her eyes, admiration and she hoped it didn’t give away that she was smitten, rather that she admired him as a person- that was a little less embarrassing. As she watched she realized things she never noticed- the colours of his eyes, the set of his jaw. ’I’m glad you’ve realized I’m a goofball-” She cut off and looked up at him, he’d called her amazing- was she really misreading all the signs? “I… You already know that I think you‘re amazing” She smiled down at the floor blushing like crazy and now bashful.
