Thea couldn't help but allow her lips to quirk, the obvious amusement there at the subtle hint given in her words. She knew that if it were Tylen, such a statement would spark that pride in him, and his confidence would manifest a little stronger. Or so she hoped. It was hard to focus and be completely accurate now with the tension between them thickening as he moved closer.
Her heart was beating like a caged bird against her chest as he leaned in, but Thea kept herself still; the picture of calm as she listened to his words instead. Her lips tugged up more as his words seemed to give her some profound answer she was looking for, and she couldn't help but lean in herself so that her lips danced along his ear when she spoke.
