TYLEN/THEA | 9PM
Thea couldn't help but be excited for the Valentine's masquerade. Of course they had balls all the time in court, but those were different. There were no eyes on her here at school, no rules on propriety, and no stuffy adults she had to play nice with. She was looking forward to just enjoying herself for the evening, as it was sure to be an entertaining affair. It hadn't taken her long to decide on a dress, though she spent a fair amount getting ready after classes let out on Friday. Thea didn't care if anyone called her vain, she thought the final product looked good. Not to mention, birds were known for preening themselves. After finishing the curls in her hair, Thea slipped on her mask and shoes before heading towards the banquet hall.
Upon arriving, she was taken aback by the transformation the school had pulled off. It was beautiful, and she couldn't help but smile as she looked around. Everyone was dressed to the nines, of course, and their outfits ranged from classically beautiful to outrageously daring. Her own dress was shorter than she'd worn before, exposing her long and fit legs perfectly. The color offset her dark skin, and she tied everything together in a sexy yet tasteful way. Maybe a little heavy on the sexy thanks to the snug fit and low cut of her bodice. As she circled the crowd, she tried to keep an eye out for Tylen. It wasn't that Thea was avoiding the crow, but she didn't know how to act. The things he had talked about stirred something in her, but she was afraid. Flirting and teasing was one thing, but she was severely out of her league as far as experience went. She would embarrass herself for sure.
Wandering upstairs to see what else there was, Thea wasn't paying attention to where she was walking. At least not until she bumped into a solid body, causing her to step back and look apologetic around the eyes of her mask. "I'm so sorry! I was not watching where I walked."
