WHO: Ajay and Chaos WHEN: February 14th WHERE:Lost Spirit's Distillery in L.A. WHAT: A Romantic Date RATING: WHO CARES
Ajay honestly was at a loss here. After the conversation that he'd overheard while he was "supposed to be asleep", the two had made leaps and bounds as far as their relationship was concerned, but they still had yet to figure out the ins and outs of dating. Navigating their feelings was almost as difficult as admitting them in the first place, though it wasn't causing them to fight or anything like that. It had just kind of put a stall on the progression of their relationship in terms of romance. Ajay, for one, wasn't sure if he was supposed to do things differently now that their feelings were out in the open. Did he bring her flowers? Did he take her nice places? Did they have to stop having sex on carnival rides? He had no idea, so when Valentine's Day rolled around, he figured they would just stay in like they always did.
Apparently, according to her brother's fiance, that was not acceptable.
He wasn't sure how exactly it had come to pass that Jianna had decided she was planning this entire thing, but he certainly didn't see how he could argue. Not only was she important to Chaos and her family, she was so nice. And he had learned a long time ago that it was best not to argue with women who were important. His own sister had taught him that even before she'd become Empress. Of course thinking about his family brought him back to the uncertainty he'd been feeling, since he still wasn't sure how he was supposed to navigate all that had been revealed about his past now that Chaos had decided she was crazy enough to want to be with him on a permanent and official basis.
Shaking all of that off, he'd arranged to meet Chaos in her room, then there was a limo waiting to take them wherever the little witch had picked. Ajay was in said car, sitting close to Chaos and admiring her for probably the millionth time, as he tried to peer out the window. He himself was dressed for the occasion, his hair back to the length he generally preferred, though he wasn't sure if he was overdressed or not. They were tinted, of course, and he shook his head. "Are we entirely sure Ji isn't sending us to our doom?" he remarked with a grin.
