Malachi & Eliza
Who: ELiza & and Malachi
WHere: Malachi's dorm
When: A few days after Blood Moon
What: A conversation is needed
It really needed to be laundry day. Once Eliza figured out exactly how laundry worked at this school. She was quickly growing more comfortable being there but there was still a lot she didn't know. OK there was a lot about life in general that she just didn't know but she tried not to focus too much on that. Though not focusing on that got a little harder when she realized she really didn't know what to do with the beautiful woman in her bed the morning after the blood moon. She felt a connection with her that was more than just sex but it was something she really didn't know how to handle. Eliza had made the other woman breakfast (A very simple breakfast cause cooking was not her most practiced skill), and she had kissed her good morning, and she had checked on her injuries again and made sure Saya knew how to care for them all before she walked the other woman back to her room. She had wanted to kiss her goodbye too but there were so many people in the hallways and she didn't actually know how Saya would feel about all that...
That was a few days ago though and while it wasn't like they hadn't spoken at all texting counted as speaking right? they hadn't actually seen each other either. though she really wanted to. She was contemplating asking the other woman to come with her to the decorating appointment she had for her dorm. Eliza didn't really know what to expect with it and decorating really was not something she had ever done before. She just didn't know if it would be unusual. Which was why she hadn't asked yet. Worrying about it like she was new to Eliza and she kept trying to shake it off. She shook her head at herself as she collected various pieces of clothing into a basket. She dressed in what was clean which meant a pair of Clary's old jeans that were too long and one of Malachi's shirts that was too big. She tied the shirt at her waist to make it fit a little better. Between her outfit and the way she tied her dark hair up in a messy ponytail gave her a look of stereotypical laundry day. Not that she looked bad by any means. if anything she looked like a normal young woman. Not that Eliza was really aware of any of that.
She carried the basket through the hallway to Malachi's room. Her brother was her source for pretty much everything since she arrived. Well, him and Clary, who kept talking about taking her actually shopping. It was a task that sounded a little daunting and Eliza had been subconsciously avoiding it. She knocked on the door before she let herself in, which was actually an improvement. The first couple weeks Eliza had struggled with the idea of knocking. It had seemed a little pointless to her. Well at least it did until she had imagined people just walking into her room while Saya was there. Then it made a lot more sense. At least the knock was a warning.
"Malachi?" she called as she closed the door behind it. It wasn't until she was actually in his room that she realized he hadn't actually seen him since the blood moon. Odd since she had gotten used to seeing him at least once a day before that.
