If Lexi knew the truth as to why Kiss had been so busy there was no saying how he would react. Not that he would get violent or anything of that sort but it was clear that he did not like Kiss's ex. If they never got back together Lexi would be ok with that. It sounded selfish but there was more then the obvious selfish reasons. He had seen how broken up Kiss was when Crash broke up with her; he did not wish to see her go through that again. His best friend was a beautiful, smart and sweet girl and she deserved to be treated like a queen. He did not think Crash was capable of doing so. Of course Lexi was a biased opinion, there was no denying the feelings he had for her but his motives were just as much for wanting to see her happy then they were anything else. If Halloween had come up as the reason to why they weren't spending as much time together Lexi would have dispelled those worries, though he did not remember much from halloween either, he just knew he would have never done anything to Kiss.
Lexi didn't want to think of any negative reasons as to why they had not been able to find the time to hang out. All he wanted to do was enjoy the time they did manage to get together. Like now. He could not stop himself from just letting go and teasing Kiss as much as possible, as well as all the compliments he was giving her. "You trust me? Can I have that in writing just in case?" Smirking Lexi attempted to dodge Kiss's return elbow but wasnt swift enough to get away from her. "I don't think I can stop flattering you, sorry. You will just have to get used to it." Reaching over Lexi ruffled Kiss's hair instead of tickling her like his first instinct said to do, there was no doubt that would just send mixed signals to his already overcharged brain. "I like lazy days. Lets just ignore the outside world and be couch potatoes."
