Eliza, Clary & Malachi
Who: Eliza, Clary & Malachi
Where: Malachi's dorm
When: Friday Night; end of November
What: There is a plan to try to break the demon's hold
Being at Mystic Veil was odd. It was hard to remember every morning that things had changed so drastically. It wasn't a bad change. Actually quite the opposite. She was getting into a little bit of a routine. Malachi had started her application to the school, not that she had any idea how. It wasn't like she had any transcripts or anything. She let Malachi handle it. Eliza was focused on trying to find a new normal. That new normal only seemed to exist during the day. Night time was when he would try to call her back. It was clear that there was some type of bond or hold he had over Eliza. His call would wake her from her sleep and she was filled with an overwhelming need to leave, to return to him. There were times where was practically in a daze as the call insisted she move. it seemed he hoped she would be able to slip past her brother's watchful eye and back under the demon's control. it was rather a good thing Malachi seemed ever vigilant. It was three times close calls that she actually made it outside the dorm. Malachi had caught her twice, Clary the third time. Which was how they had come up with this plan.
Eliza heard the knock on the door in the main room. She knew it was Clary arriving. Malachi had already explained the plan for the night. They had decided using Clary's abilities was their best bet of cutting the demon off. She was dressed for bed as she listen to Malachi let the other girl in. She had seen the connection between the two fo them instnatly when she had been introduced. Not that she had been introduced with any type of clarification as to what exactly her bother's and Clary's relationship was. She suspected that was on purpose. Clary was around a lot though and Eliza had yet to decide how she felt about her. There was something that made her uneasy... Then again, how was she supposed to know if it was really her being uneasy or this piece of her that was still bonded to him. If she really could break the bond than that might be why. Either way, Liza made no move to go and greet the other girl. She was supposed to be going to bed anyway. that was the whole point. It usually happened when she was calm enough to sleep.
Eliza slept in Malachi's bedroom. He kept telling her arrangments would be made for her to have her own room but she was fairly certain he didn't trust her to be alone yet. To be fair it was probably a smart decision. She didn't know if she trusted herself to be alone. Her memory was still foggy, whips of smoke that came and went and disappeared when she tried to process them. Her brother seemed to think that Clary would be able to help with that too. Which was another thing Eliza was iffy about. If she remembered more clearly... what terrible things would she remember. She already knew there were horrible acts that she had carried out but they were foggy too. She wasn't sure she really wanted to remember them. But she did want to remember her family. And she wanted the fog that took over past memories to stop. She could already barely remember the night Malachi had stopped her in the room of relics. memories only seemed to last a week or so before they started to fade to fog.
She moved to climb into bed, ignoring the sounds of Clary and Malachi's hushed voices. SHe was also trying to ignore the worry that something wouldn't work.
