Nafla & Nari
WHO: Nafla & Nari WHEN: Sometime in Novemeber WHERE: Around Mystic Veil WHAT: Nari volunteers to show Fla around school. RATING: Probably low. But honestly no one cares.
So he'd overslept. And he wasn't the best at early mornings. Which was apparently the only time today that Lights had to show Nafla around at all. Half asleep he'd texted the older boy that he would figure it out himself, but he wasn't getting out of bed at 7am for anything that wasn't a requirement or paying him. The text back from Lights was a mix of Korean and English and all of them were telling the smart mouthed halfbreed exactly where to shove it. The phone went back under his pillow ignored until around noon. It was his first day at the very large campus, having moved in last night with the help of his friends who already attended the prestigious school. Yeah, this wasn't exactly how he'd hoped his year off would end, with him having to actually do what his father had told him, that he'd have to enroll in some college and major in something useful since his year off after high school had not ended with him in any position to pursue music full time without his father's money.
It had been Lights who had told him to suck it up and go to college, in particular, Mystic Veil. The red haired demon wasn't dumb by any means and it wasn't hard for him to get accepted, with his very high GPA and transcripts. And the money his father made as a plastic surgeon didn't hurt either. Lights had reminded him that there were plenty of people at their school that would be good for him to meet and connect with. That he could take music classes too. And his father wasn't unreasonable, he'd encouraged Fla to pursue art, but in a more...marketable way. Which was why he was apparently majoring in graphic design. Not that Fla had any idea what the fuck he would do with that, but Lights and Owen had been right in telling him to suck it up and get the degree, that he could multi-task like other responsible people pursuing their dreams.
Which was how he'd ended up here, wandering around the VERY large campus, with an app on his phone trying to tell him where the fuck to go to find some food. He had not gotten to go shopping yet to fill his dorm with food and he wasn't comfortable taking any food from his roommate until he'd actually met the person. So now he was fucking lost and he was hungry and had not had any fucking coffee yet. The half demon grumbled under his breath a mix of English and Korean curses as he spun around in a circle looking for some sort of landmark that matched the damn map that was tracking his GPS and telling where he was. It was not super helpful. That or he just wasn't very good at using it.
Lost yet? flashed at the top of his screen, a text from Nari. A smirk crossed his lips and he tapped the bubble to bring up their conversation and he typed back to her.
This fucking app is useless. Hitting send he had only a moment to wait as he grinned at his phone, before her answer flashed.
Sounds like user error to me. Fla laughed out loud, not at all caring that a few people passing him, glanced his way. His focus was on his phone, while he stood next to some statue, ignoring everyone else around him.
Maybe you should come show me how to use it then, princess. The ellipses appeared to show she was typing. That grin didn't fade from his lips as he kept his eyes on his phone.
Fine. Send me your location. Fla grinned wider. Nari was a much better guide to show him around then Lights. Easier on the eyes too. And he'd never pass up an opportunity tease and flirt with her, despite that fact that her brother would happily skin him alive if he ever did anything with her. Clicking the send button on the app to send his location to her app, he glanced around and found a bench to sit on while he waited for his sassy princess to come to his rescue.
