Brea and Logan | Second Day
"they do?" she questions unable to avoid the moment of concern in her eyes. SHe had honestly been expecting him to tell her that these things rarely happened. that it was a magical school they had this stuff under control. Maybe she should have done more research into the school before agreeing with dad it would be a good idea to come.
Logan was still amused at the whole names conversation. She loved unique names but it did lead to a lot of very unique experiences. There was a moment of hope when he mentioned that the name Colt sounded familiar. That was another benefit of unique names. People tended to remember them. It was too band he couldn't quiet place where he knew the name from. She did smile though as he decided her friends must not be too bad though.
"They're both pretty good," she confirmed. she didn't miss the way he reacted to Xander's name though. Logan had no idea of the reputation the man carried or what Wess had been trying to walk in to. Wess said he had a class with him but looking back she could see some nervousness there. She nodded as he told her not to mess with Xander. "Not to self. Steer clear of Xander California," she answered.
At his offer, there was a little paranoid voice in the back of her head. The voice telling she couldn't possibly be considering to take up to a guy she had just met on an offer to go to his dorm room. Some guy had literally just attacked her in the hallway, who knew what could happen behind actually closed doors. And normally Logan was notorious for listening to that little voice. It was the thing that shut her down the most in social situations. But this time it was easy to ignore it. Maybe it was the warmth in his eyes or his genius nature. Or she was just being completely suckered and the mention of video games sealed the deal.
"Hmm, That might depend on what video games you have?" she asked, trying to keep her face just a little serious for a moment. It didn't last as her smile burst forward again and she laughed. "I'm just kidding, I'll pretty much any game." It surprised a lot of people that Logan loved video games but really it made sense. there weren't exactly a lot of social activities in Africa and they moved around pretty regularly. Video games were one of those things you just plug in and play. And even better she could actually be a little social if she played online things. She was actually probably better at being social online than she was in the real world. Still, she was doing alright now as she smiled and agreed to go with him
"Ah. that makes sense." she mused as he explained just a little. Sometimes she really wished she just had that natural ability to know what people were. She walked with him as she asked another question purely out of curiousity.
"So is that like your natural good with magic and technology or is it something you've studied more?"
